Why you pursue something is as important as what you pursue.

Welcome to my blog M & M! Focusing on my two loves: music and modeling.

No Justice - Ty Dolla $ign FT Big TC

So I've been a little M.I.A on this blog, trying to figure out what direction I would like to take it. As I was scanning through Spotify's Weekly Buzz playlist (mostly filled with Gucci mane's newest album releases) I found this gem! I am a huge fan of Ty Dolla $ign and as soon as I listened to the first few seconds I was in love. This song features Ty's big brother TC who is currently in prison serving a life sentence for a murder his family says he did not commit. This songs is focused on around the police brutality on African Americans that is plaguing our country.

I haven't made a post about the recent shootings or my thoughts because I do not know how to fix this. You can complain and rant for days but unless there is a solution, whats the point of another angry black blogger? I will be posted some highlights of the #BlackLivesMAtter movements such as songs(like this one) , celebrity charities and how to support black owned business soon. In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful song, pray for your loved ones and continue to raise the bar.

This video was a three part video on Instagram but I found a version with them all together. TC is recording his parts from his prison cell and sings most of the song and Ty Dolla comes in around the ending.

Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to release his next mixtape Campaign. We've already heard the title track "Campaign" featuring Future, a prototypical turn up jam. In the week that's transpired since the police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile rocked the nation, artists have used their platforms to release music about and discuss the racial divides in America that allow an environment for such atrocities to occur.
